A graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Agrégé and holder of a PhD in history, Laurent Theis works as a historian, an editor and a critic. He published a new edition of the Histoire de la Révolution d’Angleterre (Paris 1997), and contributed to the editing of Lettres à sa fille Henriette (Paris, 2002). In addition to numerous articles and reviews, he has written a biography of François Guizot (Paris, 2008). President, then Honorary President of the Société de l’histoire du Protestantisme français, he is a member of the Prix Guizot-Calvados jury.
